“Love” Buck whispers to the sky. Because that’s what this has been all these years. Love. From the very moment he laid eyes on Eddie in that locker room. Buck loves Eddie. Of course he loves Eddie, he loves all of his friends. But Eddie’s love feels different from Hen or Chimney’s love. “I don’t have to have feelings for everyone I sleep with.” Feelings, that’s what he had. Buck hand feelings for Eddie. Love feelings. Buck was so stupid. He practically admitted he was in love with Eddie with that statement alone. Woah, in love? Now that was a thought. Bucks stomach did a somersault. “In love with Eddie?” “I mean would it be so crazy?” Another memory floods Bucks brain of the conversation he had with his sister after his ex accused Edie of being the companion and living in the competitions house. How all of his past relationships probably saw Eddie as just that. Competition ———— OR the one where Buck figures out he has feelings for his best friend, Buck and Eddie go to Nashville, and they figure some stuff out. Not particularly in that order.
