Fics like ghosts of my mistakes

A family day at the zoo turns into a reckoning when Buck runs into a face from a life he never told anyone about. Before the 118, before LA, there was a SEAL team and one op that ended in a loss Buck has spent a decade believing was his fault. Eddie's just trying to keep up, quietly cataloging every new piece of a man he thought he already knew completely, and trying not to think too hard about why a stranger's hand over Buck's eyes made his whole chest go tight. Some ghosts don't come back to haunt you, some come back to tell you you've had the story wrong the whole time.
