This time last year Eddie was preparing to support Chris through another winter solstice without his mom. Now, packless and unsure of the path ahead, every crisp breeze washes over him as an urgent reminder that he still has no plan for his and his pup’s winter shelter. The past few weeks in their current lodgings have been peaceful. So unnervingly peaceful that Eddie isn’t remotely surprised when the other shoe finally drops. 🐾 Or, Eddie leaves the Diaz pack in search of a better life for him and his son. In the woods somewhere, he finds exactly that.
