Fics like Be the shield that takes all your pain

Eddie allows himself to be pulled into a tight and secure embrace, and allows his eyes to fall shut and for himself to lean into the hold. As soon as his eyes close, and his unsteady body makes contact with Hen and Chimney's, and as they hug him with all of their might, he only has one single and repetitive thought and plea looping itself throughout his mind. Please, just please, come back to me. Eddie swears on the spot. That if he's given another chance to be able to hold Buck again, and have him safe and stable in his arms, he'll make it up to him. He'll make him feel as loved and as wanted as he truly is, and he'll figure his own shit out in the meantime. He'll take care of him until he's back on his feet, and then he'll tell Buck exactly how he feels about him.
