Fics like Men Like Us

"You say you have never been with a man. But I think perhaps you've wanted to be. I've met many men like us over the years, Lord FitzChivalry. You remind me of all of them. Perhaps there is even one in particular you have long wanted, but you do not know how to bridge that gap with such limited knowledge." His hand, still resting on the center of my back, patted my scar sympathetically. "It is knowledge I could provide. We both could. And you can bring it back to him, with the assurance that you've tried it, and know what it is like, and want it still." His words were so convincing, his logic so sound and similar to my own, that I found myself nodding along with it. On a diplomatic mission to Kelsingra, Fitz is confronted with truths about himself, his desires, and his friendships, old and new.
