Fics like Embers in the Water

I was too occupied with my own pain to see what the other people did. My body was relocated elsewhere. Someone covered my father’s corpse with canvas. Per was off somewhere else. I think I heard him crying. Spark was sitting next to Beloved who had yet to leave my father’s shape. Ant was speaking to them. I almost forgot that we had no idea where Lant was. Dawn came and day began. The Vivacia arrived. OR The Fool went back for Fitz. He could not leave him there, left alone to rot in a dark collapsed tunnel. He caught the tide and got his body out to take back home to the Duchies. It resulted in a very different outcome than what could have been. Because Fitz never died in that tunnel.
