Fics like Golden Tales From A Honeyed Tongue

"...To demand transformation. Obedience. Respect. You understand that impulse some, I think." I looked aside. "I don't know about that. I heard how you and Chade were bickering over me earlier. I'm a serving man to you both, a tool. What could I possibly know about commanding anyone or anything?" The knife stilled in the air. "Would you like to learn?" the Fool asked softly. "Learn what?" I returned, just as quietly. My stomach hurt. My groin did, too. "What it is like," the Fool whispered, setting the knife aside and staring across the table at me avidly, "To be obeyed without question. To be the master, not the man-at-arms." Fitz and Beloved pass a heated and tender night together on the eve of the Prince's quest. Conversation is had, secrets are shared, and even more are guarded jealously.
