One of the lovely things about Holmes and Watson is that they do have this great platonic relationship..." (1991) "...and the biggest mistake would be to gay him (Holmes) or them (Holmes & Watson)." (1988) (Jeremy Brett) The case of the Master Blackmailer is closed, Charles Augustus Milverton is dead, and Lady Swinstead must not fear that Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson will ever give her secret away, but when his friend prepares to write the adventure down as usual, Holmes asks him to leave it be and bury it as deep in his pockets as possible. Months pass by and several new clients have already paid Holmes their visits, when one day Inspector Lestrade shows up, a mysterious letter in hand - addressed to a certain Mr. Escott...
