Fics like He only knew that his own heart was lighter

* One thing I should have made clear at the outset. This is not a massive novel. This is a series of interwoven short stories. Just thought it might be wise to clarify. Lol. So this is the first chapter in what promises to be an extremely long work. I will add tags as I go along. There are so many of you out there writing Sherlock Holmes stories and you are all doing such an incredible job and I am such a fan. I know I am just a voice in the crowd but I hope I am a welcome one. Please bear with me if I stray from cannon or take artistic license. I'm sure I will misplace details and muddle facts as I go along and I can only hope that you will extend me your forgiveness. ❤️ Please wish me luck with these two because I have been wanting to write about Sherlock Holmes and Watson for 43 years and I have finally worked up the courage to do it now.
