Fics like The Return to Baker Street

After Mary Watson dies in childbirth, Dr Watson returns to Baker Street with his infant daughter and a grief that has rendered him almost helpless before her. As Holmes assumes an increasing share of Rosamund’s care, Watson slowly returns to himself, old habits re-form, and the life they once shared begins to acquire a new and far more intimate shape.
