Fics like Unlikely Allies

Years have passed since King Harrow and King Avizandum killed each other at the Storm Spire, and peace and stability seem like a faraway dream both in Xadia and in the Pentarchy. With Queen Zubeia's and Queen Khessa's focus elsewhere, Rayla has taken it upon herself to protect the border and keep everyone safe from dark mages. But her parents' footsteps are hard to fill, even though she is willing to give her life to prove herself worthy of it. And when one day the Prince of Katolis brings news of a greater threat, both he and Rayla are forced to reconsider old alliances, and old feuds, if they want peace to have a chance. updates on Thursdays
