Fics like Endless Night

Ten years have passed since the vampires Sylas and Delilah Briarwood massacred the de Rolo family, seizing control of Whitestone. One day, a group of adventurers valiantly defeat the Briarwoods, freeing Whitestone of tyranny, but at a terrible cost: one of their own, the half-elf Vax’ildan, is turned during battle. For the protection of his loved ones, Vax embarks on a lone journey to find a cure for vampirism. Meanwhile, Percival de Rolo, the last living son of the de Rolo family, has just completed an apprenticeship under a legendary elven weaponsmith. Finally prepared to avenge his family, Percy returns to Whitestone... only to discover that the Briarwoods have already been slain by others. Vengeance unfulfilled, Percy finds a new target for his wrath: the vampire named Vax'ildan, rumored to be a Briarwood accomplice. But Percy’s quest to hunt Vax'ildan is thwarted by a powerful sorceress who is desperately researching the healing properties of vampire blood...
