He can’t bring himself to notice anything other than the way Buck’s eyes look at him, blue, wide, hopeful, and alive. How his arms are flexed, holding on tight to the zip-line, insanely long legs hanging as he flies towards the roof. It almost feels as if he’s in a trance, watching Buck fly straight towards him, his feet refusing to budge. Oh, Eddie thinks. Oh. - or, 08x18 coda.
