Fics like Anomaly

You are the player, the person controlling the main character, experiencing the game’s story through his eyes. Suddenly you wake up in a room not your own. You take in your surroundings, an exact replica of the main character’s room from your game, even bathed in the same eerie green glow of a hidden hour. A familiar character has materialized nearby. You recognize him right away- a young boy who shows himself during the Dark Hour to talk with and befriend the main character. You however, are not welcome here. Especially not when wearing the skin of the one person closest to him.
