Fics like The Inverted Play

“I don’t understand,” Takaya mutters, pacing around the common room. “He is the perfect vessel for a Persona. The researchers always said he basically belongs to the Dark Hour. It’s why they kept him around. So why won’t he awaken?” “I think it’s the lack of desire,” Jin says, his gaze analytical. “We fight for a clear goal, but he accepted death long before a desire could form as to what he wishes out of his sacrifice.” --- An incident has thrown this play into chaos. Years of experiments, leading to our protagonist finding a different family. A persistent chase for death, only for death himself to ruin everything. A Strega Makoto Yuki story.
