Fics like Dawn of the Dragon Guardian

Not everyone knows the truth. Before the Green Death was defeated, before Hiccup helped Vikings and dragons live in peace, there was someone else with a similar story, someone history forgot. After taking back the Dragon Eye from Dagur, Hiccup chooses to keep it secret. As the other riders focus on their own paths, he explores it alone. Using dragon fire, he unlocks new maps one showing a strange, broken island: Heart Break Island. Curious, he and Toothless head there. What he finds uncovers a hidden past. Lost ancestors, the real cause of the dragon and human war, and secrets about Berk that no one told him. On Dagsátr Island, Hiccup feels something he never expected: like he's home. Would he give up his only chance on freedom and exploring dragons or would he go back to his tribe to take one day the role of Chief and feel himself getting lost in his own tribe. Or a, “what if…?”, where Hiccup in RTTE goes to retrieve the treasure Johan left behind, encountering Dagur, and stealing back the Dragon Eye from him, he goes on an adventure to an island where he will discover the secret of his past ancestors.
