Fics like The Weight of the Stars

Kara Zor-El, trapped in Superman's shadow, finds unexpected freedom in Kendra Saunders, the fierce, free-spirited Hawkgirl. Through rooftop encounters and late-night diners, their bond deepens from battlefield chemistry to something more. As Kara breaks free from Kal's overprotection, Kendra teaches her that strength isn't just power, it's choosing who you want to be, and who you want to love.
