Fics like Not a Burden

Something flickered between Link and Zelda in the aftermath of the Spring of Power. Neither of them spoke of what transpired. How Link had heard Zelda’s breaking point, how she had cursed the goddess – actually cursed her – for refusing to answer her prayers. She hadn’t realized he had turned from his post until he was wading toward her, his boots sloshing in the water and his pants soaking up to his knees. His eyes had not torn from hers. She had not spoken a word. Instead, he had simply held out his arms, and she had fallen into them.
