Link is many things. A knight; a warrior; a Hero. They all ring true. Link is a knight— or at least he was— he is a warrior, and he is a Hero. One thing rings true above all others. Link is alone. After Zelda vanishes, and Link wakes up on the Great Sky Island, he's plagued with dreams of Zelda, who's trapped in a dreamlike, hazy state, with eyes that are as vibrant as they are unnatural. She barely remembers her own name, much less their friends or family. But she recognizes Link.
