Fics like I once believed love would be (black and white), But it's golden (golden)

It was supposed to be a short patrol. Her, Mira, and Zoey were supposed to go out, kill some demons, and go back to their penthouse. But of course, something just had to go wrong. Honestly, it was her fault. If she had paid attention, she would’ve noticed the demon creeping up on her from behind, and she would’ve been able to block his attack. But she wasn’t, and that bastard managed to slash her with its claws, leaving a giant gash on her left side. And now she was bleeding out in an alley. OR Rumi gets hurt on patrol, Zoey and Mira see the patterns, and they talk. this is pre-canon btw. Title from daylight by Taylor Swift. Rated T for mild swearing and mention of injuries! nothing is graphic btw :) EDIT: added a follow-up with Bobby! (8/7/2025) Confrontation with Celine added! (22/7/2025)
