Fics like like a bird of paradise

The King realises His mistake in time- this is no fluke. Lucy Hearfilia is a strange human, touched in a way many Celestial mages are not. Unusually powerful, despite her ancient lineage. She is a child of the stars, lungs filled with cosmic dust, her heart twisting into its own kind of celestial body. Memory mixed with space and time. He has waited far too long, has simply watched as her power began to rot within her constraining vessel of flesh. It is nearly a decade past when the Spirit King finally admits that this particular mistake must be mended. (Or: young Lucy Heartfilia is starting to think that between the Celestial Spirit King, the goat-man living in her attic, and her actual father, she might be starting a collection of deadbeat dads)
