Fics like Stone-Still

It has been 500 years since the last confirmed sighting of Rex Lapis. In Liyue Harbour, a stranger appears, clad in garments no one has worn in centuries, bearing the aura of something older than time. He speaks little, wanders without aim, and pays with mora that appears from thin air. Merchants call him a noble, artisans mistake him for a historian, and children whisper of ghosts. He asks questions only the dead remember. He drinks osmanthus tea without comment. And when he speaks, it feels as if stone itself has turned to listen. The people of Liyue do not know who he is. They only know that something ancient now walks among them — quiet, composed, watching.
