Fics like Starving

Soft! Alpha Bob attempts to court the world's most stubborn omega. John is oblivious until he isn't. John had never let it slow him down. He slapped the patches on his neck and wrists, popped his pills, and carried on. He never allowed himself to imagine anything else—a life beyond the fight, beyond brutality. It’s why they’d given him the shield. Why they’d made him Captain America despite every reason not to. Because omega or not, John didn’t need to be cared for. By anyone. Not even himself.
