Fics like deadweight

His mind catches up, finally understanding what the fuck just happened. And then Peter can’t breathe. There’s a building on him, there’s a literal building on him again. And— He’s back there. Metal talons sinking deep into his skin, drawing blood greedily. Dust and rubble and guilt down his lungs. Coughing and coughing until it all came out tinged with red; blood and bile dripping down his chin. Rubble crushing his chest, pinning him down. It squeezes his heart, rocks forming a fist around it, tightening with every fleeting, fading pulsebeat. There’s a crackle in his ear. A fuzzy, cut-off noise like TV static. It startles him, and he jerks just enough to jostle the cement stacked neatly beside him. or, peter gets trapped under a building, again. this time, he's not alone.
