Fics like I Will Soften Every Edge

It was Tony’s fault when it came down to it. It was very clear how little thought he put into recruiting a kid to join in on his little kerfuffle with Team Cap. His intentions were to just borrow the kid, give him a shiny new suit and then return him to the wilds of Queens, washing his hands clean. Never did he suspect he’d become so stupidly attached to a 15 year old spider kid. This meant that Tony was woefully unprepared in dealing with said 15 year old spider kid. Hell, he didn’t even know how Peter got his abilities to begin with, or anything else really. He knew the kid was strong, agile, fast, and sticky, that was the extent of his knowledge. And worse of all, he didn’t even think to ask any questions or find anything else out. And Peter had to suffer because of it.
