Fics like switched

after a villain’s misfired spell swaps their elemental powers, kai and cole (and nya and jay) are forced to train each other while the others search for a cure. at first, their differences cause frustration, but as they struggle to control their new abilities, they also discover new feelings — ones that have nothing to do with fire or earth. so basically kai and cole accidentally pull a freaky friday with their powers, spend half the time arguing, and the other half accidentally falling in love. everyone else is sick of them, meanwhile jay and nya are in the background doing their own thing and laughing at them
