Fics like For the Love of Ice and Snow

“You speak highly of him,” observed the Emperor, intrigue colouring his voice. “He must be important to you.” “He is the love of my life.” -------------------------------- For as long as the Ice Emperor can recall, he has been nameless. Even those closest to him only refer to him by title; 'my lord, my emperor, my liege.' This has never bothered him though. His actions build a far stronger reputation than words - or a name - ever could. He feels he does not need one at all. Until one day, a mysterious samurai barges her way into his castle, spouting masses of untruths and throwing a single word at him that hits him like a brick. Although quickly apprehended and relegated to the dungeon, this strange samurai won't leave the Emperor's mind. The way she'd addressed him... She had called him by name.
