Fics like The Great Race

What if Gordon wasn't so happy to be streamlined in The Great Race? Streamlined…” the Fat Controller thought to himself. “That would make him faster.” He looked up at Gordon ominously. “Brilliant idea, Thomas. I could streamline Gordon and take him instead. He's bound to win.” It was hard to gauge which engine looked more irritated at the suggestion. “I told you, sir, I don't want to go,” said Gordon firmly. “Take anybody else. Everyone else wants to go.” “You're going and that is final.” The Fat Controller crossed his arms. “I've had enough of your stuff and nonsense. You will go, and you will be streamlined.” Gordon glared for a minute before catching the rest of what the Fat Controller had said. “Streamlining, sir?” (Doesn't need to be read as a series, Scotsman just references the events of 'Little Brother').
