Fics like Inevitable
Once there was a cruel king that ruled with violence. Once there was a coup organized by the king's younger son and most trusted advisor. Once there was a curse: for the son to never step foot upon his father's land again and for the advisor and his family to learn obedience to their king if they couldn't learn loyalty. And now there is a boy, cursed by his great-great grandfathers actions to always be obedient to the royal line, and now he's been taken in by the same royal family that cursed his bloodline. Tommy's curse is not a kind one. His family loves him, but they occasionally make mistakes. (At least... Tommy hopes they're just mistakes.) Will that love prove itself stronger than the curse pulling them all towards an ending their ancestors designed or is his fate inevitable.
