Fics like Missing Pieces

The fic where Peter and Wade grew up together. They are madly in love, overly co-dependent and trauma-bonded. Then Wade leaves and neither of them handles it well. - My name is Vanessa. I was Wade Wilson's girlfriend for the past year and a half. But I know I was never his greatest love. You were. I don’t resent you for that. I am glad I got the time with Wade that I did and he was never happier than when he talked of you. I am so sorry to tell you this Peter but Wade is gone. Nine months ago he got sick. He was diagnosed with a rapidly progressive kind of cancer and given three months to live. He left me soon after. I think you and I both know Wade never liked being seen as weak. I didn’t have any contacts for Wade's family, nor did the military. The only person from before he ever talked about was you. I have mailed you his dog tags. I think he would have wanted you to have them. I am sorry Peter. Vanessa
