Fics like Basic Color Theory

steve and eddie eat blue and red ring pops, then kiss to make purple, but WAIT A SECOND, they aren't dating... yet <3 Eddie settles his arm on Steve’s shoulder and grins at him through the reflection. “Speaking of, I’m inclined to believe we’d make purple if we swapped spit.” Steve’s head twists to the side so fast he nearly gives himself whiplash. “Huh?!” Eddie raises an eyebrow. “It’s basic color theory, dude. We learned that shit in elementary school.” Steve can’t help the way his face scrunches. “No I know that, but you–” Eddie rolls his eyes and takes a step back, his grin suddenly gone. “Calm down, I wasn’t being serious.” Steve’s mouth opens and closes a few times, before he says, “Do you really think it would work?”
