Fics like It's difficult to pull me from myself again

A mix of Martyn's V-Tuber lore and Pirate smp setting. “Do you remember, like forever ago. Like ever and ever and ever ago. When we went to the sea of curses because you wanted something or what not?” “Yeah. The Value Voyage? In the center of the cursed sea. We swore we would never return after seeing things. Why are you bringing it up?” Apo sighed. “This voyage, is their treasure there?” Martyn asked. “Kestrel minded as always.” Apo rolled his eyes, “... yes there's treasure at the end of it. Probably not what you're looking for though. The island it leads to is… a magical place part of the cursed sea. The legend says if you sail in its water, you will find the thing you desire the most. At the cost of losing what you value the most.” “The thing I desire the most. Like physically?” “If you're looking for gold there are better quests. This one will make you lose your mind. When Owen and I went, it only took a few hours into the cursed sea for the eeriness to get to us. Started seeing and hearing things. Figured it was best to go back.”
