A year and a half after his supposed death, Uchiha Obito is accidentally found by Namikaze Minato and is convinced by his master to return to Konoha. To deflect unwanted attention and keep Obito close at all times, Minato, newly appointed Fourth Hokage, decides to make his student his personal guard as they attempt to free his student from Madara's evil control. With Kakashi and Rin shattered after the events of the Kannabi Bridge and Rin's suicide attempt, Obito must try to pick up the pieces of himself and his shattered team.
