Fics like Deepsea Dreaming

Pale summer moonlight shimmers on the seafloor. An octopus, unaware that dawn will bring capture, Rests within a trap, dreaming fleeting dreams... --- After a fight against Agent 3, Eight finds himself lost in an underground metropolis. With no memory of how he got there, he is forced to join forces with his hated rival to survive the enemies thrown their way. With only his wits and an inkling he doesn't know he can trust, he faces off against various trials meant to test his mettle and prove he is worthy of what the deepsea denizens call the "Promised Land". But secrets lurk underneath Inkopolis Bay... secrets blanketed in blood and gore. And if Eight wants to make it out of there alive, he will be forced to confront the ideals he has held close to his heart for so many years. A novelization of Octo Expansion, where Agent 3 accompanies Eight instead of Cuttlefish.
