Fics like the one cure for the past is the future (the one cure for the future, the past)

Making himself Edmund III turns out, to Blackadder's great displeasure, to not be the five-minute job it should be. Who thought playing around in the past would get so complicated? Maybe, if he could find someone who was tediously detail-oriented, somewhat intelligent, and most importantly of all, willing to do anything for him without causing a huge mess in the process, to help him with his cunning plan. If only, once he'd realised that mysterious someone was Darling, there hadn't been the cock-up of them crash-landing in 1917, accidentally picking up the Wrong Darling in his rush to avoid dying in the most embarrassing way a Blackadder ever did (bravely, heroically, and pointlessly) and leaving the Right Darling behind. And if only the Wrong Darling wasn't refusing point-blank to go back...
