Fics like Shattered

*SUMMARY CONTAINS SPOILERS!* STORY is ALL Spoilers!! "Sugah? Ah - Ah can't FEEL you." Sitting in the crater left behind by Gambit's explosion, cradling him to her chest as tears slide down her cheeks to mingle with the blood staining his, Rogue's world - and mind - shatters in the aftermath of tremendous loss. ~X~ Rogue must deal with the mental and physical repurcussions of Gambit's traumatic death, but nothing is ever straightforward for the X-Men. When she is unable to handle the strain, the team must trust her wellbeing to a former foe. Tensions come to a head, however, when Gambit's body is stolen by Sinister. A race against time, and other villains, begins, but will Rogue be strong enough to overcome the cards that are stacked against her? ~X~ My take (and trauma therapy) of the events that occur directly after Episode 5, "Remember It." Good lord, I'm scarred for life, I tell you.
