Fics like The Wolverine and the Phantom

Logan doesn’t remember his past. He doesn’t remember where he came from, why he can heal, or why metal claws tear through his hands every time he fights. For nearly fifteen years, he’s drifted across the country with only one constant in his life: a silent teenage boy named Danny. Danny is strange even by mutant standards. He never speaks. He doesn’t age. One moment he’s an awkward kid obsessed with space books and junkyard repairs then the next he’s something terrifying, all glowing green eyes, fangs, and ghostly power capable of tearing monsters apart. Logan protects him anyway. Because whatever Danny is, he’s family. Alternate summary: Danny's in the Xmen universe and is along for the ride with Logan in the first X-men movie
