Fics like Safe Haven

When Peter realises that he sees Tony as a parental figure, his first reaction is guilt. Followed by the uncertainty of how- or if- to tell Tony this. Because how did you tell someone that you saw them as a dad? How did you tell them that they were one of the most important people in your life? And how did you tell them that you were afraid, if that truth was out there in the universe, spoken, they would be taken away from you too? And then Peter begins to fear that the universe has heard him regardless. Tony, meanwhile, is just trying to keep his kid safe.
