Fics like Shards of the Hero

Link was done. Retired. The Master Sword asleep in the forest and Rauru's arm gone with the ancient king's spirit. But when Gloom reappears on Death Mountain, Link and Zelda go to wake the Sword and find her in the hands of a green-clad child wearing a strange, spiky mask. Suddenly mentor to a feral protégé (and accidental reincarnation?), Link juggles investigating Gloom's resurgence, dealing with time-displaced monsters, finding a dead god, and healing from his past adventures.
