Fics like Not Quite Obedience, But Close

Maybe this time if he didn’t speak Tuco would let it go. A foolish idea. Tuco was like a dog when it came to knowledge; if he discovered something, he would bite down, lock his jaw, and he wouldn’t let go until he was satisfied. But no other words came. Tuco stayed quiet for the rest of the ride. He glanced over at Blondie a few times, something curious but contemplative in his expression, but he didn’t push. The conversation as they lay down at the fireside was short, all business, and it continued that way into the next day. It irked Blondie, set him on edge. Tuco was like a dog. Tuco would find a way to bite down. Blondie would let him in spite of himself.
