Fics like burning up

Another time, Cid might have given him his space entirely; a Bearer’s life wasn’t easy or kind, and it wasn’t his business to press the details when a man flinched from his touch, but Clive had never reacted this way before. Cid might even venture that Clive had been growing steadily more accustomed to the ease of contact, his own hand sometimes finding the place Cid had touched him when he thought Cid had long since turned away. Now, he could barely stand to share the room. Something is wrong with Clive. Cid takes matters into his own hands.
