Fics like Miles To Go, But We're Almost Home

Wherein Paul wrestles with exactly what he feels for Kat, torn and terrified of losing the man whom he knows as no other: the one good thing to come out of the war. OR: "I've been burning all my daylight running; even midnight caught fire. Only way I ever learned how. (. . . ) If you lie awake while your universe shakes, and I go weightless and fall– claws out for you now– just hold onto yourself– We're almost home, but we've got miles to go. Miles to go, but we're almost home." ~~~ Addendum: Now an accidental, indefinite short-story collection / dumping ground for my thoughts and feelings re: the book All Quiet, but mostly Paul and Kat. Expect stories, fanart(?), historical inaccuracies, canon divergence and goodness-knows-what-else. NOTES: Despite the tags, none of this is salaciously explicit, although the subject of sexuality is dealt with frankly here (as is all else in the book). Prompts / requests welcome! ~ May be slow to update, but please consider this an active work unless it has been orphaned. ~
