Fics like LCB-2, Book One - The Tale Of Alice And Her Journey Through "Wonderland" (SYOC)

Alice jolts awake in a cold sweat, the rhythmic, unnatural hum of Nautilus—a bus that seems far too alive for comfort—pressing in around them. Their head is heavy, their thoughts hollow, their memories a void save for two things: their name and the singular, absolute purpose that brought them here. Surrounding them are twelve fractured souls, misfits of society bound together by contracts and condemned to the same relentless journey. A woman looms over them with an eerie, all-knowing grin, while a chronophobe at the wheel drives like he's outrunning time itself. Thrust into the role of Executive Manager, Alice must wrangle their unruly subordinates, maintain order aboard this Wings-forsaken machine, and chase the elusive Golden Boughs—all without the faintest idea how to lead.
