Fics like Our love is shown in the letting go
Takes place in a universe that is sort of a mix of the comic and movie. 10 years ago Ballister's arm was cut off by Ambrosius the day after the knighting ceremony in a duel. He is let go from the institute shortly after. In the years that followed this incident, he has carved out a life for himself, without Ambrosius, starting a prosthetic shop with his friend Meredith Blitzmeyer, and becoming a dad to Nimona. His content, simple life, out of the public eye and away from those who betrayed him is upended when Ambrosius walks back into his life.
