Fics like Coals and Embers

“M’ tired,” He says to Techno, letting himself fall face first into his bed, the blankets almost swallowing him whole. Techno chuckles softly from above him, his fingers brushing through his feathers gently, straightening them out. Tommy can’t help the way he leans in closer to his touch, warmth prickling along his feathers wherever Techno touches. He doesn’t see the way Technos eyes swirl with a dark satisfaction, the way possessiveness curls his lips up as he preens his feathers, listening to Tommy’s soft coos. “Yeah?” Techno asks, and Tommy nods his head, one of his eyes opening to stare at Techno. Or vigilante Tommy owes the Syndicate a life debt, yet he somehow manages to worm his way into their hearts and become part of their family.
