Fics like You're free, a lover sinking in the sea

Mornings were his hell on earth, Percy decided as he woke up once again in searing pain. It was weird. He would've bet his slightly enhanced demigod healing would’ve taken care of that, but it was feeling more and more like he had a really bad cold. This was slightly suspect as Percy generally didn’t get colds at all, his father’s more godly side peaking through. Though, he supposed, a summer flu had been going around camp, nothing to worry about, though it did suck to have a constantly runny nose. The mornings were still pretty cold for summer, and Percy shivered slightly as he made his way out of his cabin and towards the ocean. The water felt weird around him, but he didn't get to worry about it, because his whole world turned white before he could alert anyone to his troubles. or: Triton hears it's flu season and overreacts. Cue some very gentle and well-meaning kidnapping.
