Theres is absolutely nothing wrong with Marie. She's fine. Totally fine. She just smokes cigarettes at 2 AM even though she fucking hates the effect they have on her for... fun. Yeah, for fun. So what if she wants to get shitfaced at 3 AM because it feels like her world is crumbling down and the only thing that can make it better is a bottle of vodka? That's normal. Everyone does that- right? Her coping mechanisms are perfectly fine and normal. Why else would Shiver be helping her with them tonight? or Marie being a stress smoker/drinker suddenly became so important to me so i had to write a fic abt it before i lost my mind
