"On this reading, Being is the positive moment or thesis, Nothing is the negative moment or antithesis, and Becoming is the moment of aufheben or synthesis—the concept that cancels and preserves, or unifies and combines, Being and Nothing." - Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel Being: Akira Kurusu has been struggling for the past year to come to terms with the apparent death of his teammate Goro Akechi. He refuses to believe the young man he dared to care for is dead - but has no evidence to prove otherwise. Night terrors and flashbacks plague him constantly. Nothing: Goro Akechi is caught in limbo, not quite living but not permitted to die - and he waits for his final judgment to strike. Becoming: Through the help of a fellow Wild Card and a single admission to himself, Akira sees the door to the Velvet Room unlocked once more - and a chance to bring a certain detective back to the land of the living. All he has to do is find his way back into the Metaverse he thought had been destroyed.
