Fics like ebb

“Oh,” Ellie says when they hear a shuffling in the hall, and from the sound of it he knows she’s had an idea. Before he can ask, before he can do a single thing, she yanks his arm through the fence, shoves his sleeve back, and sinks her teeth deep into the skin just above his elbow. He curses and reflexively jerks back, but her grip on his arm is strong, and she just sinks her teeth deeper before she lets go. He pulls his arm back and is looking at her, wondering if she’s lost her damn mind from the stress of this horror show, when the door opens and three men, including David, walk through. The sight of blood on her mouth makes the men pause. But only for a second. (post episode 8 with a little twist that joel is with ellie in the cages)
