Fics like For His Cub, Anything.

Macaque comes back to life, bitter and ready for his second chance to be more than a shadow, but he finds a kid and now he's a dad. Then his kid finds friends at school and those friends have parents who don't mind their business and now he has friends as well. . . . . . . . ------------- So basically, Macaque's kid attracts free therapy (kind of) for Macaque and now he faces canon events with some help, several voices of reason, and fixed past relationships. Of course, while some things get better, others feel worse.
